The public is invited to attend a virtual town hall meeting on Thursday, May 14 from 3 to 4 p.m. as City leaders hold a joint discussion with medical partners regarding COVID-19 and Irvine’s readiness to reopen. Participants in the meeting will include Mayor Christina L. Shea, Councilmember Farrah N. Khan, and representatives from UCI Health, OC Health Care Agency, Kaiser Permanente, and Hoag.

By emergency declaration, the Irvine City Council has extended the closure of City facilities indefinitely. The Council also approved postponing this year’s Super Swim Lesson, scheduled for June 26, in consideration of economic uncertainty and to limit non-essential gatherings to help combat the spread of COVID-19 in our community. The Irvine City Council and City staff offer our sincere apologies for this inconvenience.
