The City of Irvine is one of Southern California’s premier tournament destinations. With 42 softball and baseball fields, 40 soccer fields and 2 championship stadiums, Irvine is the perfect place to host your next tournament.

List of tournaments hosted:

Individuals, groups, or teams may submit an online Facility Reservation Application July 1 at 8 a.m. for an opportunity to reserve athletic fields on an ongoing basis.  Field rental opportunities will begin the weekend after Labor Day. Application requests are compiled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Athletic Reservation staff will contact applicants to discuss field reservation opportunities. Applications do not guarantee a field reservation.

Please have the following information ready when you contact Field Reservations:

  • Date and time you are looking to rent
  • Type of activity you are using the field for (softball, party, etc.)
  • Preference on field or facility (if you have no preference we will find a field for you, if available.) Click here for facility list.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

Individuals wishing to reserve an athletic facility for a one time rental may do so by contacting the Community Services Department. Athletic field space is limited and handled on a first come first serve basis.

Normal Operating Hours

Monday through Friday 4 p.m.–10 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday 7 a.m.–10 p.m.

Extended-Operating Hours (extra fees may apply)

Monday through Friday – Before 4 p.m., and after 10 p.m. 
Saturday and Sunday – Before 7 a.m., and after 10 p.m.

Junior players play on a team formed by City of Irvine Tennis Professionals against other teams of the same skill level. All matches count towards a World Tennis Number, that rating system supported by the USTA and International Tennis Federation (ITF). Coaches will place players onto a team. Home matches are on Saturdays in Irvine. Away matches are at other local tennis facilities in Orange County. Divisions are TBD.

Fees: $180 ($150 to the City of Irvine, $30 to USTA)

Spring league starts in February and ends in May.
