Celebrate National Public Works Week with the City of Irvine

Thank you to everyone who came out to the City's Public Works Week event at the Great Park and learned about the role public works operations play in your everyday life and possible career choices as a public servant. The free event was be held Thursday, May 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Great Park Hangar 244.

Staff & Careers

City staff from the Public Works & Sustainability Department will be on-site to discuss their careers and how their roles impact daily operations in Irvine. Staff will talk to students and visitors about their trade, current projects, and noteworthy and upcoming work planned in Irvine.

The event is open to the general public and no RSVP is required. Hangar 244 is located at 8000 Great Park Blvd. Guests should take Great Park Boulevard, turn right to Beacon, turn right to Bosque, and follow on-site signage to park in Parking Lot 2.
