For the last 40 years artist Minna Chow has been living and working in Irvine, creating brush paintings in the traditional Chinese style, one of the oldest artistic traditions in the world. Chow was first introduced to the technique by her mother, eventually majoring in Chinese Language and Literature, allowing her to learn different calligraphy and Chinese brush painting styles.

The City of Irvine, through the Irvine Recovery Plan, provided funding for organizations to develop training and grant programs for businesses impacted by COVID-19. Click on the fliers below to explore these opportunities.

Thank you for your interest in doing business with the City of Irvine. Invitations for Bids and Requests for Proposals are posted on the Bids Online system. Click here to register as a vendor and view bid opportunities.

Generally, the City performs formal online bidding for purchases greater than $200,000. For lower value purchases that do not meet this threshold, staff may work with our registered vendors to obtain informal competitive quotes or proposals for purchases.
